Yogi is the name give to the man who following Yoga,for women its Yogini.
Body,Mind,Thoughts,Breath : this are the main things we have to concentrate during Yoga.Mind is like fire(one of panchabotha)it can be used for both good and bad.By Yoga practice we can rule our mind.
In Tamil : Yoga,Meditation,Asana,Pranayamam(breathing practice) was teached by Thirumoolar in his Thirumanthiram.
He lived 3000 years and made one manthiram for a year so totally he gave 3000 Manthiras.
Our mind collects the informations from this physical world by our Five organs and we take decisions

3.Eyes
4.Nose
5.Ears
This are controlled by our mind,but our mind is like monkey it never take strong decisions.So by controlling our mind we can take strong and correct decisions ,mind comes under our control by practicing yoga.
For example, In our younger generations many of them are not able to control their mind due to this they do Some bad bad things but they really don't love to do that by praticing yoga we control our mind.Conrtrolling our mind is not easy it can be possible by regular practice and concentration and myth.
